Working With iThrive

Working with iThrive means being part of a structured, mission-driven organization committed to clarity, care, and sustainability. Our standard operating schedule supports youth programming and team well-being, with most work occurring Tuesday through Friday and select Saturdays for approved programs or events. Specific schedules and time commitments vary by role and are outlined in each official job description.
 

Team members receive access to Thrive Pro, iThrive’s professional development and wellness membership, as part of their engagement. Team members with children may also receive complimentary youth memberships for eligible programs, based on availability and alignment with program guidelines.
 

Compensation, benefits, role classification, and eligibility vary by position and are detailed within each role’s official job description. All roles operate in accordance with iThrive’s internal policies and applicable Texas employment regulations.

Our Application Process

We welcome individuals who feel aligned with iThrive’s mission and are prepared to engage in meaningful, purpose-driven work. Our application process is designed to ensure clarity, readiness, and shared values.

​Applicants complete a general application to share background information, relevant experience, and interest in iThrive’s work. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement or assignment.

Thrive Coach (Non-Clinical)

Thrive Coaches support youth through structured group sessions focused on social-emotional development, leadership, communication, and personal growth. This role involves facilitating guided activities, modeling positive behavior, maintaining emotional safety, and upholding iThrive’s trauma-informed standards. Thrive Coaches are not therapists and do not provide clinical services.


Good to know:

• Requires training and onboarding

• Works directly with youth in supervised settings

• Background checks and fingerprinting required


Street Team Member

Street Team Members support iThrive through outreach, events, community engagement, and program support. This role may include assisting with setup, participant support, family engagement, and representing iThrive in community spaces. Street Team Members do not facilitate core coaching sessions unless separately trained and approved.


Good to know:

• Flexible, event-based support role

• Youth interaction may be limited or supervised

• Training and background screening required

Step 2: What to Expect After Submission

  1. Application Review
    Applications are reviewed with care and attention to experience, mission alignment, and readiness to support youth in a trauma-informed environment.

  2. Follow-Up Conversation
    Selected applicants may be invited to a brief conversation to explore mutual fit, expectations, and interest in available roles.

  3. Safety & Eligibility Review
    Roles involving youth engagement require completion of applicable background screening and safety requirements in accordance with iThrive policies and Texas regulations.

  4. Orientation & Preparation
    Individuals who move forward participate in orientation and preparation to ensure clarity around expectations and readiness before engaging with youth.

  5. Onboarding
    Onboarding at iThrive is a shared process focused on alignment and clarity. Roles are confirmed based on strengths, completed preparation, and mutual fit, ensuring individuals feel supported and prepared as they step into their role.
